No sweat!
Plucky senior pushed through half-marathon
You’re never too old to start running, says Hudson marathoner Bill Young, 68, who completed the Toronto Half-Marathon (21.1 kilometres) last Sunday in 2 hours and 26 minutes. Though the time was better than Young anticipated, he admitted that he finished toward the back of the pack.
Nevertheless, the fit athlete kept a trade-mark smile on his face throughout the event that included runners of all ages, shapes and sizes. Young said he even spotted a few runners who were in their 80s.
