It’s song and dance time for the Hudson Village Theatre’s third show of the summer season. The Dik & Mitzi Anniversary Show, continuing today at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., will wrap tomorrow following another 2 p.m. matinee performance.
The show, which promises fun for everyone in the family, combines vintage vaudeville fun – think slapstick comedy, tap dancing and song and dance – with modern theatre twists.
The musical romance centres on a long running show business love affair between an American entertainer and a French Canadian barmaid.
The show is written and performed by well-known dancer, Wayne Doba and former West Island resident and Cirque du Soleil performer, Andrea Conway, and directed by Mary Harvey.
The Dik & Mitzi Anniversary Show will run at the Hudson Village Theatre until August 3.
