The principal’s of retirement
Schools in Hudson and St. Lazare bid farewell this week to two retiring principals that have helped shape the Vaudreuil-Soulanges English school system.
Westwood senior and junior high schools said goodbye to Michel Miller, the man who lead the two campuses when they were formed amid protest five years ago. Miller worked as a teacher and administrator for 34 years.
Meanwhile, Forest Hill Sr. Elementary sent Marc Klein off with a moving tribute last week. Klein, also in education for 34 years, opened the environmentally friendly building two years ago in St. Lazare. Both men say they’ll spend newfound free time with their families, do projects, and in Klein’s case, learn to play the electric guitar.
