Surpluses of over 2 M $
Saint-Lazare may see taxes decrease
Saint-Lazare – The mayor of Saint-Lazare, Paul Carzoli, says the town will end the current year with a considerable excess of revenue over expenses due to the increase in new constructions and real estate transfers.
Mayor Paul Carzoli presented the annual mayor’s report on the town’s financial situation at the November 6 council meeting. “Keeping in mind, that we want to offer our residents an exceptional quality of life, we will continue to adopt a balanced budget for the 2008 financial year. To be able do so, part of this year’s surplus may be used to reduce the 2008 taxpayers’ fiscal burden,” said Mayor Carzoli. @ST:Surplus over 2 M $
