Vaudreuil BMO first Canadian bank open Sundays

Vaudreuil-Dorion – History was made in Vaudreuil-Dorion on Sunday, November 4, when the new branch of the BMO Bank of Montreal held a gala opening in Vaudreuil. The BMO in Vaudreuil is the first bank in Canada to offer full services on Sundays. “We were honoured to be the first bank in Canada to open on Sundays, and we were very excited. Our population is growing. We had lots of people from Vaudreuil-Dorion and all the surrounding areas. There is a definite need for Sunday banking hours. Our residents commute from Vaudreuil to Montreal, and do their shopping on weekends. The new hours are great for them”, says Sylvie Milot, manager of the new BMO.
